La crescente richiesta di acqua potabile ha provocato l’impoverimento delle falde freatiche e, molto spesso, l’abbassamento del suolo, fenomeno noto come subsidenza. Per questa ed altre ragioni è necessario far ricorso sempre in maggior misura alle acque superficiali.Il film descrive il processo di potabilizzazione in tutte le sue differenti fasi.

The growing demand for drinking water has led to the depletion of groundwater and, very often, the lowering of the soil, a phenomenon known as subsidence. For this and other reasons it is necessary to increasingly use surface waters. The film describes the purification process in all its different phases.
