L&#8217;interferometro elettronico (biprisma di Mollenstedt) viene presentato sulla base dell&#8217;analogia con l&#8217;interferometro ottico di Fresnel (biprisma di Fresnel). Se ne illustrano i principi di funzionamento tramite una serie di animazioni seguite dalla ripresa dal vivo della esperienza stessa. In particolare, nell&#8217;esperimento di interferenza di elettroni viene messo in evidenza come il processo di formazione delle frange sia il risultato statistico di un grande numero di eventi indipendenti, ognuno dei quali legato all&#8217;interazione tra elettrone singolo e apparato sperimentale. The electronic interferometer (Mollenstedt&#8217;s biprism) is presented in analogy with the optical interferometer (Fresnel&#8217;s biprism)- Its working principles are demonstrated by means of a series of animated sequences followed by filmed reports of the actual experiments themselves. During the electron interference experiment in particular, emphasis is laid on how the fringe formation process is the statistical outcome of a large number on independent events, each one of which is connected with the interaction between the single electron and the experimental apparatus. The experiments was conducted by using as an electro-optic unit an electronic microscope connected with an image intensifier, which enables the arrival of a single electron to be displayed in the
